Science Film Festival 2021
Hybrid Science Film Festival 2021 by the GI in collaboration with Dawood Public School and the Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus – Punjab & KPK
The Science Film Festival is a celebration of science communication in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. This festival promotes science literacy and facilitates awareness of contemporary scientific, technological and environmental issues through international films with accompanying educational activities. In 2020, the Science Film Festival focused on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Many screenings were held virtually with more than 200,000 online views.
This year, the Science Film Festival 2021 takes place hybrid & internationally from October 1 to December 20, 2021. The theme of the festival is “Mental Health and Well Being”. The film screenings will take place in combination with science activities and an international science quiz.
